Crashed Disk Photo

Image: courtesy of A.J. Samuels

This photo depicts a crashed disk. The body laying beside the craft.
looks suspiciously like the Santilli _alleged_ "autopsy alien".

This photo was originally sent to me by a contact-friend in early November 1995.They had picked it up off of the Internet. No further info was forwarded at that time. I thought it interesting, but I also thought it was a fake [though a good one] and didn't bother pursuing it. Shortly thereafter some discussion started in the CompuServe Encounters forum about the veracity of this photograph. Was it real? Where did it come from? If not real ...then who created it and why?

My curiousity got the better of me. I knew there had to be someone out there who knew where the photo had come from. I wanted to track down the original source. . . I was curious to find out exactly who might have been behind this photo. I started inquiring around and found out that the photo had been seen on a web site in the United Kingdom. . . The primary focus of this web site was crop circles. . . The photo was located at the Crop Circle Connector web page in the UK and it had no caption or explanation other than to say "image by A.J. Samuels."

In my effort to learn more about who created this photograph and why. I contacted the Crop Circle Connector web site administrators Mark and Stuart thru email. What he told me was that the photograph had been created as a joke by someone named A.J.Samuels, but they were unable to put me in touch with him.

Shortly after the first of the year (1996) I learned the email address of A.J. Samuels and contacted him myself to try and find out more about the creation of this. A.J. was very informative.
