------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MY CONTACT WITH XFX ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 08/14/96 UFO UpDate List, From: [email protected] I just got off the phone to XFX. Steve Johnson wasn't around, but I did get to talk to his right-hand man Joe Fordham. Joe was cool. We talked for about 15 minutes. We talked about many things. I had lots of questions and he took time out to answer. Joe has a british accent and you can imagine how it clashed with my Texas draw, but it was a very amusing and productive conversation. When I told him that I was calling about the photographs of the ALLEGED ALIEN that appeared in Penthouse Magazine. I heard sort of a chuckle on the other end. Apparently, they had recieved quite a few calls concerning this since the magazine came out. Joe confirmed to me that the Penthouse alien photos were photographs of one of the 4 different dummies that Steve and he had created for the Roswell movie. He said they were photos of the alien that was on loan to the Roswell Museum. He was amused that Bob Gucionne had published them as real. But he has recieved many phone calls about this since the Penthouse article came out and was anxious to put it to rest. I told him that I agreed with him, but that there was another question that had come up. I told him that...According to Bob Shell in his post on (OMNI )* COMPUSERVE. Linda Howe was claiming that Steve Johnson told her that these are not of his creation. Joe did not recognize the name Linda Howe. But Joe told me that sometime before the Penthouse article came out that some woman had called them at least twice and FAXED them some photos that came off the internet. It had something like FBI alien autopsy #4 on the photos, but Joe said that the fax were so bad that they couldn't tell much of anything. They were virtually blank and they told this woman that they couldn't say what they were. He also remembered telling her that the dummy in the Museum in Roswell was theirs and that if someone had photographed that dummy and were passing it off as real that that would be very amusing. But he couldn't remember the name of the woman. He said he would talk with Steve and he took my number down. I got his email address and i plan on getting back with him to find out what Steve has to say. --Bill--
